About This Event
A night of Brazilian music, dance and culture in Rotterdam with live shows, DJ sets, a dance crash course and caipirinhas. Expect a mix of live Forró, Brazilian baile funk and feel-good grooves keeping the dancefloor moving all night. Forroffa & De Xoties bring the live energy, and DJ Yonkuman takes over later with a set full of Brazilian rhythms, baile funk and feel-good grooves. The poster is inspired by Abdias Nascimento’s ‘Okê Oxóssi’ (1970), created during his exile under Brazil’s military dictatorship, blending political resistance, Yoruba spirituality and a reimagined Brazilian flag honoring Oxóssi. Come through, dance, and feel the Brazilian vibe in Rotterdam.
